Criminal case initiated upon attack on Valery Kuzmitch in Moscow

The police managed to identify the person of the criminal that attempted the life of the head of the justice department of Moscow suburbs, Valery Kuzmitch. The law enforcement officers yet have not disclosed his name.
 
"We’ve managed to establish the person of the malefactor who made attempt on V.Kuzmitch’s life", - a source in law enforcement bodies said. It refrained from further comments, however.
 
Sergey Sevastyanov who works in a building opposite the scene, happened to become the eyewitness. He explained that everything occurred within three or four minutes. Sevastyanov said that the malefactor had shot four times and then approached the BMW car from the side of the driver, whereby this person with a sawn-off shotgun shouted something to the car driver through the broken glass. The eyewitness added that after the shooting, the criminal serenely got into a car without state number plates and left.
 
As experts report, the attacker shot from a 16-gauge fowling piece.
 
Upon the attack on the chief of the justice department, a criminal case under part 3 of article 30 and article 105 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation was initiated. The shooter is suspected of attempt at murder. Currently, the criminal search is under way.
 
Now the Moscow physicians are struggling for Kuzmitch’s life.

"An unknown person in a Honda Accord blocked the official BMW carrying the head of the Moscow Region Supreme Court justice department and fired at him from a sawed-off hunting shotgun. The victim was hospitalized with a gunshot wound in the chest", – said the spokesman for Moscow Police.
