According to experts, the Turks have for several years displayed interest to Russian long-range AAMS С-300 and С-400. By means of these systems, the Turkish military plan to protect the southern borders of the country. Earlier, a representative of the armed forces of Turkey declared that, in general, the country is going to spend not less than one billion dollars on purchase of long range anti-aircraft missile systems in Russia, the USA or China.
